About Drenched

Drenched Mini Water Polo school teaches children a simplified version of the Olympic sport of Water Polo. The aim of Mini Water Polo is to score in an opponents goal by throwing a ball past a goal keeper. Children swim, pass and shoot to score goals and have limited contact with each other. The school is aimed at children 7 to 12 years old and has three key goals:

  • Make the game accessible to all
  • Increase awareness of Water Polo
  • Increase participation of Mini Water Polo across Sussex

Why Mini Water Polo?

Water Polo is an amazing game and here at Drenched we have complete faith that if it was more accessible to children they would really enjoy it. Being Water Polo players ourselves, we have made it our mission to make the sport more accessible to the children of Sussex, starting with Worthing and Littlehampton.

For the first time in the UK (as far as we are aware) a dedicated mini water polo school has been set up and is able to offer children as young as 7 the chance to try the sport and improve their water skills, confidence and swimming.
